Big Mama bought Rylee her first car for her birthday - a pink Fred Flinstone car! It is soooo cute and was definately one of Rylee's favorite presents. That car goes everywhere - it has become her new stroller, she rides it in the backyard, she plays with it in the house....she LOVES her car. I guess you can say she comes by it naturally though. It even has a Bob Tedford Chevrolet campaign sticker on the back - it is perfect!! Thank you Big Mama!!!

Packing up the baby clothes.....

I think that the hardes thing that I have had to do this past year is pack up all of Rylee's baby clothes. We got so many wonderful things at my baby shower last year - so many cute outfits. I can't believe that a year has passed already and that she is too big for all of those clothes. As hard as it was to pack them up....I did have a VERY special helper!

Rylee Meets Mary!

Rylee finally got to meet our dear friend Mary the other day. It had been way too long since we had seen her. She was such a huge part of my childhood and it really warmed my heart to see her with my little girl.

I'm a BIG GIRL now!!

I can not believe that my precious baby girls is already 1!!!! Things have been quite crazy around here the past couple of weeks. Rylee has learned to walk and it is all that we can do to keep up with her. I started a 5:00am workout class with my friend Ashley and we just signed up for our second month (neither of us thought that we would make it this far). Curt has been working hard to get ready for the annual Duck's Unlimited banquet which is tonight. We have had birthday parties, Easter, and a quick trip to God's Country (College Station). I guess you could say that we NEVER sit still - and it appears that Rylee will be the same way. Here are a couple of pictures that I took of her on her first birthday. I made her a shirt to wear to school and when I picked her up that afternoon it was soooo dirty - she plays hard!

Rylee has grown and changed so much in the past few weeks. It is hard for me to believe she is already almost 1!

For Christmas, Aunt Jacque and Uncle Darcy gave her a walking toy that we have named Leo the Lion. Ryle LOVES Leo - he has become quite the favorite toy around our house. She is so close to walking on her own, but when you get her with Leo she turns into a walking and dancing machine. When you press Leo's nose, he plays music (which Daddy Loves....NOT!) and Rylee starts to boogie down.

She has also learned how to say "Hi" and wave. I got her on video doing all of her new tricks the other night so I had to share! :)

Mommy's Little Helper

So Rylee is pretty much the most perfect child EVER! Not that I am biased or anything. :)

But seriously, what 11 month old do you know that WANTS to help mom do laundry....well, my 11 month old LOVES to help pull clothes out of the dryer and even take them out of the laundry basket. If only I could teach her how to fold and put the clothes away. She loves laundry so much that she even wants to play in the dryer!
