Done and Done!

Put a bow on it.....I'm done! After two years, one baby, and what seems like THOUSANDS of trips to Dallas, I finally have my MBA. Graduation was on Saturday morning and I am so glad to put this chapter of my life behind me. It was a great adventure, I made some amazing friends, and I learned a little bit too. :) I am so glad to finally have the time to stay at home with my family and to watch Rylee Bear grow. Thank you so much to my amazing family and friends who have supported me over the past two years - it was a long road with several unexpected turns, but you know what they say.....its all about the journey, not the destination!

Our family! Could not have done this without my amazing husband!!! Open your eyes Curt, its finally over!!!

I had to buy Rylee an SMU dress for graduation - but it's all maroon and white from now on!

My wonderful study group! We made it all the way through together!

Santa Baby!

We FINALLY made it to see Santa today! I have been looking forward to this day for a very long time and it was everything I wanted it to be and more! Curt, Rylee, and I waited in line for an hour and a half for Rylees 30 seconds with the big man! She was amazing....no tears at all! She loved Santa and all of the jingle elfs that were on hand to take the pictures. This was definately a great start to a wonderful family tradition!

Happy Birthday Grady!!!

This has been a great week for many reasons. First of all, I have finished school!!! As of last Wednesday I have completed all of my course work and I will graduate next Saturday, the 19th. It has been a long two years and I am so glad to have some "free" time on my hands.

Secondly, as I said in my earlier post, the Baker's had baby Allie this week and she is healthy and happy at home with her family.

Last, but certainly not least, Teri and Grady are home for a visit!!! I did not realize how much I missed them until I got to see them again. Teri came over on Monday night to visit and it was so great to catch up with her. We went to lunch on Tuesday and it reminded me of when we were in college. Since they have to go back to "the island" before Grady's birthday, they had a birthday party for him tonight. We went over to Steve and Sansie's house to celebrate Grady turning 2 (so old already!) and to hang out with Teri before she has to go back. We got to talk to Scott on Skype - Curt was so happy - and we got to hang out with all of Teri's family and their adorable little ones! It is so hard to believe that the next time we see them that Grady will be a big brother (well - almost a big brother).
Happy Birthday Grady!!

We actually managed to get them all in a picture!

So young - and already they love each other!

Daddies and their daughters

Waiting on Daddy

Rylee has been crawling all over the place lately. She has recently discovered that she can look out the front window and see her daddy's truck. While we were waiting on my mom to pick us up to go to the Rocketts on Saturday, she kept going to the window and saying "Da....Dada." So cute!

Meeting Baby Allie!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE babies.....and these days, there are babies EVERYWHERE!!! Our good friends, Phil and Anna, had their sweet baby girl this past week. We were so excited to meet baby Allison! We took Rylee over to meet her today and it was so much fun. Brook and Michael came over with baby Karlie too - we finally had all three girls together. It was so cute to watch the proud dads talk about their little girls - I think these three macho men have met their match!

Best Friends!! (Allie, Karlie, and Rylee)
