Our Little Pumpkin

Curt and I took Rylee to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina today. It was such a cute place and there were a ton of people there. They have hay rides, a petting zoo, hot dogs and snacks, and a ton of pumpkins (big and small). Rylee is going to be a pumpkin for Halloween this year, so I wanted to take her picture in her costume. She did such a great job posing for the pictures and she had so much fun watching Daddy feed the animals.

Seven Months Old!

I can not believe that seven months have passed already. Rylee is growing like a weed. She is crawling (actually crawling on all fours now) everywhere and my mom has taught her how to pull up on things. (Thanks for that Mom!) :)
As we approach November, we have so much to look forward to. I have seven weeks left of my MBA program and then I will be done with school FOREVER! Someone asked me the other day if I was going to sit for the CPA Exam or try to earn my doctorate degree. I have decided that after being in school for 23 years, I am done!
We have so many friends that are going to be welcoming babies in the next few weeks. In fact, our friends Brook and Michael had their little girl yesterday! Karlie Mae Cross was born several weeks early (her due date was December 10th) but she is absolutely perfect in every way. The doctors were so happy to see that she could breathe on her own and does not need as much help as they had initially expected. We are so happy for the Cross's. Karlie and Rylee are exactly seven months apart in age....they are going to be best friends! Our neighbors are expecting their second baby in December (they don't know if the baby will be a boy or girl, so we are all anxiously waiting to find out), as well as our friends the Baker's (they are having a little girl as well - we can't wait to meet Baby Allison), and one of my good friends from work/school and his wife are having a little boy in a few weeks (his name is going to be Bryson). We also found out the other day that another friend from college/high school and her husband are going to have a baby girl in March! We live in such a crazy world and in such difficult times, but it is such a blessing that so many of our friends are able to welcome new babies into their families. Babies are the greatest gift from God and we are so happy for all of them......it makes me kind of anxious for Baby Feagin #2.....but that will have to wait for now! :)
Congratulations to all of our friends and their growing families!

Up and On The Move!!!

So, clearly I am not as good at this blog thing as I had hoped to be.....but once a month isn't too bad, right?

The last couple of weeks have been CRAZY in the Feagin household. I am about to start my last module of grad school (Whoop!), Curt has made several trips to the coast and not yet been able to leave the boat ramp, and Rylee is crawling all over the place. Well, it is really more of an Army scoot than a crawl, but regardless....she is on the move!

Rylee is now six months old and I can not believe how fast the time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday that we found out that we were going to have her. Now she is a "big girl" with her own little personality. It is so much fun watching her grow.

"Hehe....I got into Mommy's purse!"

That's my girl! She LOVES accessories.
